Albino calf highlight aboard Whale Whisperer

Posted by Lady Stanford in Whalewatching

Hello everyone,

I went on the Whale Whisperer on Saturday, 24th October 2009, hoping to get some pictures of birds for the 350 24 24 Birding Challenge for Climate Change.  Not only did I capture the African Jackass Penguin, the Cape Cormorant and a trio of Kelp Gulls, but I got some awesome photos of whales, Cape Fur Seals and even a shark fin or two...

Thank you, Wilfred, for providing this wonderful experience for Bruce and myself, we shall never forget it and look forward to taking our neices on your boat too.  They may holiday regularly in De Kelders and have brilliant sightings of whales from the rocky shoreline and their balcony, but the pleasure of being out at sea on your boat is just indescribable.

 Thanks for the wonderful experience.

And here are the Jackass Penguins I was talking about - I need to go back to take some better photos and get a little closer...
